In my chosen writing project, which was the social media project, I did a good job with my incorporation of MLA formatting with my in-text citations and works cited pages. In the social media project, I used two different sources. I was able to cite these sources properly, even though on of them, the TED talk, was a different type of source than I was used to. To conquer this problem, I used one of my resources, The Little Seagull Handbook, to properly cite these sources. In addition to doing the MLA format correctly, I was able to master my grammar and spelling in the essay. I had a few mistakes in my first draft, but through local revision I was able to correct these mistakes and polish up my paper.
